Ack...I need TV-out working by 4pm April 3...
..and it's not cooperating. Any tips? I have a second display installed as "Generic television", but I don't get anything on it. It's just fuzzy...bleh. Reinstalled the drivers that came with the card...still didn't work. Tried booting without the monitor plugged in..didn't work. I'm running out of ideas..and running out of time (watching a movie with some friends, and I don't really want to be stuck on a crappy 17" monitor)..thanks for any ideas!

I was having a similar problem with my TV-Out. Then I installed the 43.45 drivers and now everything is nice and clear. Also make sure the cables are secure. That will also give you a blur.

I should've been more clear..it's just the fuzzy static -- no signal..

This may seem a bit amateurish, but did you turn the TV to your S-Video input mode?

It's an ancient TV, but it's running through a 'modern' VCR. I plugged it into the video in (line 2)..set the VCR to line 2, and nothing shows on the TV. I might try it with our video camera; if that doesn't work, something in the TV/VCR stuff is messed up.

I have it set to extend the windows desktop to this monitor.
Now it's black/white fuzzyness with a couple of large vertical stripes running through the middle of the screen. Any ideas?

Another update..apparently the VCR got set to CH4 instead of 3...so I fixed that, but I'm now stuck with the plain blue screen...argh! Less than 2 hours before I run out of time..

You might try instead of setting it to extend the windows monitor, to go into nView Display Mode, Device Settings, Select Output Device. Click Detect Displays and select TV and click apply. Also in the advanced tab make sure your format is set to M/NTSC.

It doesn't pick up if I hit detect devices..and TV (and LCD) options are greyed out. Bleh.
Maybe I have the wrong adapter..? It fits fine..
