All I can say is "Rock!".
Vice City is great but IMO GTA3 was/is much better. In some aspects . The best part about Vice City is the various cycled automobiles and bailing from cars. Ooh, and the minigun .
But Halo....on PC....that's preposterous! I love it so much, but those Mac lovers are getting the shaft again! Hah!
If Halo was on PC, I would for SURE buy it, it'd be great online.

Actually, Halo was originally meant to be released first for Mac.

Actually Halo was 70% done for PC when good ol billy gates gagged and bound the dev team over to the xbox. The funniest thing is that my Voodoo 5 5500 has screenshots of Halo on the video card box, it was also going to feature glide support way back then! and I think 3dfx was also sponsoring the project.
Who knows, had Halo shipped for PC on time, and optimised for Glide... things might have panned out differently for 3fdx.

Damn, I dont know if I can dig up a link. But it was in an OXM mag about the beginning of Halo, and it was originally an RTS with some cool vehicles. Then they decided they wanted to make an action game outta it. I can remember the first little preview in PC Gamer, and it had a really different looking Master Chief and a huge battlefield...so it changed ALOT since then, especially since it was a third-person shooter back in the preview and in the awesome E3 2001 movie, but they changed it to FPS shortly before MS bought them I think.

Yeah, i remember the pcg video. It had an enormo landscape with a bunch of redneck soldiers getting pwn3d by aliens. Then the masterchief coming in and owning the aliens. Looked really good, then the Empire went and made it a console game... The vid was 10 minutes too, but it looked pretty much the same.

Yeah, that movie kicked serious ***. It still turned out well for a rushed game. Halo 2 will be what Halo was supposed to be
