Unhappy A Different Klipsch 5.1 Problem

Had my speakers since last summer and love them to death, best purchase I've made for some time. In the last month or so a new problem has arisen that is annoying to the tenth degree but shipping to RMA them would just be plain ridiculous.

Ont he front of the sub is the little 'hole' that air escapes through and around it is a piece of plastic. It just says Klipsch|THX at the top and BASH at the bottom. Well it has come ever so slightly loose so that the bass makes it vibrate against the core of the sub-box bringing forth a pretty loud rattle.

I'm tempted to just pull it off but this piece goes about an inch into 'the hole' (hell if I know technical terms) and I'm not sure what kind of affect that would have on sound.

On another note, pressing against it with just 1 finger completely eliminates the problem.

    Arghhh

That "hole" is called a port. You may be able to put a dab of glue under it to hold it in better or something simple like that with what you have around your home.

I'd try Krazy Glue, just put a couple drops around it and hold it in for like 5 minutes and you'll be good to go.

Took a bunch of black electrical tape and it seems to be working pretty good for the time being. Will try and get some krazy glue because thats a much cleaner looking method if done right.
