    Apache HTTP 2.0.45 Help

I want to host my own website since my school only allows us to have 10MB of space. If I host right off my computer I would have alot more space. Scuttle told me to get Apache, and once I installed it I was completely lost, even after reading the FAQ's and How-To's. Does someone know of a user-friendly beginner level walkthrough or have any comments or words of advice with Apache? Thanks!

Apache is damn awesome if you know how to maintain it. I was running 1.3 on Windows XP awhile back, but like anything Unix derived, it's alot more robust and intuitive on their native platform. There might be an Apache for Dummie's book, I haven't checked.

Just use google since I don't see any user-to-user support on a.org

Have you atleast changed the index.html to your own ? Nothing beats seeing your own site for the first time after installing a web server. Such a wonderful sense of accomplishment.
