    lighting overkill

I will be doing my first mod, adding a window and a cathode light. I will have a 92 fan mounted on the window and 92 mounted on the top. Will it be overkill to have both of these fans lit also.

    Welcome to Sharky Extreme Forums

Most side panel fans do more harm than good for case airflow. Normally the best mod for any case is a top panel exhaust -- check out the AOC alum. 120mm fan, great CFM to DBA ratio. What case brand and model, link to see it? Lighting is a personal matter -- I think a CC is enough -- see link in my sig.

Overkill? nah. I've got two cold cathodes and two blue LED 80mm fans and it looks awesome.

Hell yeah, when done tastefully, lighting looks awesome. I re-did my lighting with 2 blue CCL's and 2 front blue 92mm fans to match the blue LED's on my Sunbeam fan controller. Soon my blue LED mouse pad comes in

Did you get one of the Xide Pad Ultra's? Those things look great. I'm ordering one myself.

Dude, you gotta read the fine print. Blue doesn't get you the ladies, that's the RED one. The Blue lowers your core temp by 3C, and the GREEN one gets you 500 extra marks in 3DM2003....duh.
