    I will enjoy HL2 better because of simply the multiplayer and mod support.

    It might not be actual game shots... It could be like video footage that some games have.. Like in Splinter Cell or SOF... You know where you watch a news broadcast... The quality is not as good as the actual game

    Also it could just be camera shots of the monitor with the monitor cropped out... I think the actual in game details/quality would be much better.. But this is just an assumption.

    It may be just how the screens were taken or scanned but they look a little grainy to me.

    What's up with the blue shadows in the second one?

    Striders in the other thread makes me think of war of the worlds.
