    Setup a Mail Server with Comcast?

    I have a home network and was wondering if I could setup a mail server. I basically want to sync or download my Comcast mail info from the Comcast mail server to my own mail server.

    This will allow me to keep all my email (including Inbox) on my mail server instead of individual machines on the home network.

    Basic requirements for a post office (mail server):
    Domain Name
    DNS support
    TCP/IP ports 25 (SMTP) and 110 (POP3) open
    24/7/365 machine running appropriate post office software

    Many ISPs block key ports if you do not have a commercial account.
