Pretty cool link, it looks like manufacturers are starting to capitalize on the huge modding scene

Is DFI a good manufacturer though? I'd get one if it were an Asus or Gigabyte. The concept is cool though.

I'll bet the name-brand manufacturers start making a line on mobos directed towards modders. Imagine getting an Epox 8RDAME+, "
    ME" standing for "Modders Edition"

Kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me. I thought the original idea of overclocking was to see how far you could take your motherboard to its limits, not to set it to a predefined setting on the motherboard..

If a board came with overclocking capabilities in mind, then us PC nuts would just find some other way to push our rigs. It really wouldn't matter...

Erm, most of the time, your motherboard is rarely holding you back, unless it's by means of bios registers or simply the cooling on the northbridge or southbridge. In which case, you can most always cool it better.

I don't see what 'bios' they would use. All the options available to be altered generally are in all motherboards.

    Just some food for thought.

I'm taking this as just attaching a label to something they've been doing for years for marketability.

I was just joking everyone. I thought it was kinda funny. You can already buy items that come OC'd and try to OC them some more if you wanted. RAM, Graphic Cards, I just added the MOBO Example as a joke.
