    Gf3 -> Gf4

    Well I just replaced my Geforce 3 (no Ti) with a BFG GF4 Ti4200 Se 128 MB, and my 3dmark 2k3 scores are flying
    I think you guys can understand that a GF3 user doesn't run 3dmark 2k3 very much (those scores hurt) and so all i remember is that the old score was below 1000, i think 770ish....

    New card, new score, same 43.45 drivers...1526
    those planes in the first test fly much faster on this new baby
    thought i'd share...

    BTW sweet lookinh HSF (plus heatsink on bottom of card) on this BFG product.

    not bad, you must have overclocked her a fair bit to score so high, I get 1200 on my ti4200 in 3dmark 2003 but I should benchmark again LOL what do you get in 2001
    3000+ Venice with a top overclock of 2.45GHz at 1.52v
    Retired from 3dmark! My top score shown.(with winny)

    Nah no OC, just popped the thing in (previously uninstalled drivers), installed drivers (43.45). After restart i just ran 3dmark 2k3...was aiming for 2k1 but that doesnt seem to like dx 9.

    It was right after starting this thread i noticed i had no sound and windows nicely informed me that i had no soundcard :P
    A restart fixed that problem...think that helped my score?

    At stock speeds?
    BTW reran 3dmark 2k3 with sound working this time and got 1524, so sound had no effect on the score.

    It still is a bleak picture though, during the first plane test i get great FPS (max like 351 for a sec or 2), after that it's all single digit :P

    No, the Ti-4200 was overclocked to 295/515 and the Ti-4600 was @ 325/750.

    3dmark2003 is very inconstant with those scores of yours. it doesnt care about cpu speeds and also it likes directX 9 cards. also no way your ti4200 nearly matches a ti4600, your ti4600 has so much more memory bandwith too. Use 2001, most people still use that, what do you get on each

    Really? I get 1100 with mine...NO OC by the way

    edit: Sorry that was with my fsb at 143, which I believe was XP2000+ speeds. But with everything stock I get 1050. Geez I can't for my 2100+ and 9700
