Best Inexpensive Flat Screen Monitor?
Whats the best flat screen monitor? Under or around 200$. I know its not much to work with, but im broke.
Anything in the Long Island Area to pick up the monitor to save on charges would probably be best.
Thanks.

i havn't done alot of research but u prob could get a good profesional series from viewsonic for just aobut under 200. The monitor would be 17" or 19" if you could find a good deal.
i would just wait for 3 months or so.... im pretty sure prices will drop=)

I got my 19in KDS X-Flat from Walmart for under $200, I like it and my bro has the same one. The link below is to one that is similar but I am not sure if it is the exact one I have, it might be a newer model.

I'd go with the Diamondtron over the Samsung tube personally, but I'm probably only saying that because I've been a Diamondtron fanboy since yesterday afternoon. On a tight budget, the Samtron Dyna Flat is better value though.

When i go on the samsclub website, it doesn't show a flat screen monitor. It seems its a regular bulk monitor with the actual screen flat. I know i should be clearly, and im sorry. I meant, a thing monitor that has a flat screen. Like a laptop.
Or the picture is just not updated on the website, and im a fool.
Thanks for the help guys.

Ahh... you don't mean a flatscreen, you mean an LCD display. Flatscreen usually means a CRT display that is flat instead of the regular curved tube.
Anyways, I'd start looking for 15" LCD deals, but with just $200 to work with it could be difficult.
Athlon 64 3700+
2GB Micron DDR400
Shuttle ST20G5 SFF
ATI X800XL 256mb
Seagate 160GB
Generic 8x4x8x DVD+-RW
Dell 17" Trinitron (just bought a 2005fpw!!)
And my soon to be 1.5TB server

flatscreen is a normal CRT monitor with a flat surface...
you meant to say flatpanel or LCD display...
anyways... i dont know of any decent quality 15+" flatpanel for under 2 bills...

Good luck finding one of those for under 200 unless it's a mistake.

get ready to be dissapointed if you're a gamer trying to use an lcd in quake or counterstrike..
only the higher end lcds > 700 bucks are decent for gaming (unless the prices have come down again :-)
