    Silly boot sound question...

    hey all,
    i have a rather simple question here: Does anyone know any sites to download windows boot-up themes?
    I know its ridicoulous, but I always liked the Windows 95 boot sound, and I havent been able to find it.
    Any ideas??

    Yes, they are in .wav format.

    Would that mean that you can use Winamp to convert your favorite .mp3s to .wavs, and use that as your startup up tune?

    Yes, actually it would. You can set any .wav file as your start tune.
    However, I can't find the windows 95 start music anywhere.

    I don't remember, but did 95 have the same startup tune as 98?

    Since I have 98 and XP installed, I just went to the 98 folder, and picked up the .wavs. I can email it to you. The Zip file is 1.76mb, so if you have an email account with that much space, just tell me it.
