ported games galore
I was at work today and was in the electronics department when I realised something. The amount of Games ported on all systems is remarkably increasing
X-Men
Matrix
Ghost Recon
Splinter Cell
The Hulk
Wolfenstien
Unreal
Def Jam Vandeta
Wreckless
Finding Nemo
Spiderman
Am I the only one who notices this? And the bad part is most games ported to most consoles suck pretty bad. Is this something we are going to start seeing more often?

I hate ports too.. I guess the reason there are so many ports is becuz devs are too lazy and make more money porting games..
Asus A7n8x 2.0
AMD T'bred XP 2400 2.0ghz
Windows XP Pro
Corsair XMS 512 2700 DDR
80GB Western Digital HDD ATA/133
Lite-on 52x24x48 CDRW
Radeon 9700 Pro(Bios flashed 340/325)
Black Aluminum Chenming Case
Antec Trueblue 350W

Awesome.
Some games are developed for both systems at the same time, and some games were also ported from console to PC, not just PC - Console.
The console-console ports have been pretty good, with the one glaring exception being Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2, in which the PS2 version is just so incredibly superior to any other (including PC version).
Many other ports have been successful, there really are only a select few ports which didnt make the grade.

No tall the games I listed are ports, but 90% of games that are all all PC/consoles are never all that inspiring. I know there is a difference between porting and developing for both systems, but I sill think most games should stick to one platform and focus there atention to it.

8 Wheels Move The Soul
The only good one was Grand Theft Auto, and if it sucked on one system, it sucked on all of them (like GTA2).
Let's hope Bungie can pull it with Halo.

Just for programmable reasons I think PC to Console games usually suck, but I tend to like Console to PC ports . They have some sweet FPS games that I would love to play on my PC.

That's because the PS2 version was devoloped by Blackbox and all the other versions were made by the now defunct EA Pacific NFS division. Luckily the upcoming NFS game is made by Blackbox.
