Came down to lack of clamping pressure, the IHS is almost exactly the same thickness as the PCB from a stick of DDR so it's alot to take out. I had a friend make me up a new mount for my MCW5000 and now it's holding within 1c of the case temp at 1.5v vcore at full load.
Edit : I hate the 4PEA+ i've raised the voltage by .05 in the bois to get .02 gain and it fluctuates by upto .05
