    Question 5600

    http://www.gameve.com/store/gameve_v...idproduct=1068

Hello, I need some convincing arguements as to why not to get a 5600. The one above is the cheapest I found. Anywhoo, please contribute some actual information like benchmarks, numbers, or even recomendations for other cards. I need something in the above price range please. This card needs to work for Homeworld2 and needs to last for a while.

    I found a 9700 retail by power color, for $195. Good yes/no?

Powercolor is very good manufacturer and the 9700 n/p would be a better purchase than a FX5600 Ultra. Nvidia doesn't rise above ATI 9700 until you get to the FX5900.

between a 5600 and a 9700, there is no question which to get...the 9700 is better by far.
