    Wireless network and gaming

I'm moving in 2 weeks and I will finally be getting off dual isdn and getting cable. I have 3 computers in the house that are gonna be sharing the connection and we can't run cabling through the house so I have to get a wireless network. Now my gaming pc isn't going to be directly connected to the router. The router is going to be a Linksys and the wireless cards are going to be Linksys also. Now will my pings in games be just as good if I was connected directly to the router with a cable? I have heard of a few people having problems with games and a wireless network and I was wondering if anyone else has that issue or any advice on what I should get or do. I really dont know much about wireless networks so I don't know what to expect. Thanks ahead of time.

I don't have any problem in games using my laptop over my wireless network. You might notice a slowdown once in a while if you are getting a crappy signal but if you have a 50% signal or better you should be fine.
