Windows XP sluggish networking on a Windows 2000 domain
I've recently installed XP at the office - and it's having some strange networking issues with other Win 2000 machines. I've heard of XP exhibiting sluggish behavior when acting as a client on a Windows 2000 active directory domain - but I haven't been able to drum up any useful work-arounds from the MS knowledge base.
I was wondering if anyone knew a registry trick or something along those lines that might stop the insanity
I've disabled nearly every service that I don't need, and I've even messed around with some of the "domain member" local security policy settings, but to no avail. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks ahead of time.
