    Is this the right Radeon 9800 driver

    I just installed my radeon 9800 VC and installed the catalysts (3.4) drivers from ATI's website. After rebooting, I go and check the driver version and it says it is" 6.14.10.6343. It also says the driver signer is "microsoft windows harware compatibility". Do I have the wrong driver loaded? If so , how do I go about getting rid of the MS generic driver? Should I just go with the "update driver" tab? Not sure why the 3.4's didn't load the 1st time.

    Sorry I forgot to mention that I also tried installing the ATI software that came on CD (after trying to install 3.4's) and I get an INF Error, video driver not found.

    3.4 is current. Do an 'Add/Remove Program' on the ATI Display Drivers and reboot. Then install the 3.4 Cats.

    You dont need to add/remove... Your drivers are installed correctly
