    n00b question that I forgot how to solve

    My brother... I have no idea how he managed to do it, somehow changed the way his icons look on the desktop. You know if you click the mouse and hold it and select it over an icon the colors swap. Say, black text and then the desktop background color. Well now his text is white and the icon looks selected and is black, except its not selected. Lemme post a pic...




    They look like that now all the time. I know there is a way to make it go back to looking normal but I forgot how? Anyone remember?

    Windows XP
    display control panel > apearance > advanced >
    destop color and selected items color

    This will vary depending on operating system. XP actualy uses transparent color until selected. Other windows will use the desktop color.
