Hammerhead Shark
saphire 9500pro vs ATI 9500 pro
Difference? My brother is about to buy a PC and he's looking for the 9500, which one of the two are better? the 9500 are pretty tough to find in canada and saphire is about everywhere, but if the saphire sucks in comparison.. Also, i guess saphire uses ATI's drivers and not their proprietary drivers? Possibility of turning it into a 9700?

Well...sapphire makes the "built by ATI" cards and their cards on the same production line. There is absolutely no difference between the cards physically.

Mine is a Sapphire one. Identical to a BBA, including the ATi logo on the fan.
When I received it thought that the reseller shipped the wrong card
OC it a little (too hot in RIo ) with no issues. (Infineon 3.3ns)

How do you know what type of ram you get when you buy a card. I bought a built by ati 9500 pro and it has 3.0ns ram. is it just chance that I didn't get the 3.3ns ram or do all BBA 9500 pro's come with the 3.0?
