is that the engineering sample you bought? If not, as long as you get over 3.6GHz your 3dmark will go up. There is a chance your old cpu is better cause its potluck on how far the 2.8c goes to. good luck on 21k Im working on 13k myself

I dont go after just 3DMarks scores...

Granted I like to do that for fun, but I buy things I like... I needed a new CPU/Board for the office.. So one of these 2.4c/2.8c will be there and the other at home...

The one that I like better, Overclocking wise will stay at home while the other will go to the office...

    EDIT:
That is not an ES processor... First its a RETAIL package... ES chips are OEM and comes pretty much AS IS... Second they also dont come with a label like that

then you win either way, the 2.8c or the 2.4c goes to the office LOL and you might end up getting the faster 2.8c too. extra performance for bragging rights and youd have the 2nd fastest system in town and sharkys. im probably number ten LOL

Id say my system is a minimum to get on the top 50 of this forum...maybe even top 100. And i have a 2100+ @ 2.4 ghz and a 9700 running at 9700 pro speeds. t-bird you've become the laughing stock of this board. Why dont you decide to clean your act up and post when you actually know what your talking about and ask questions when you do not understand. Instead of giving everyone your advice when its not good advice at that.
