Another vote for Logitech, any of the MX series, just depends on what you like. Personally, I went with the MX700 because I use it for presentations and such, but am also a gamer and I have no complaints with it, it has a nice smooth movement and doesn't skip no matter how fast you move it.

On a side note, I have had 3 MS Intellimouse Explorers and each has broken within a few months and I have yet to break a Logitech mouse.

Yeah, the Intellimouse fit's my large hands better ( for the ladies).

I don't like the logitech's smaller buttons either. I've got a Logitech Trackball Optical which I use right next to my mouse. It's great for some games and graphic design stuff. Personally, I wish I had bought the Microsoft version as it fits me better and has two more buttons, but oh well.

Well I bought it and tried. My skipping problem is gone . But the mouse seems really damn sensitive . I mean damn, it's a a bit too sensitive so I'm gonna turn it down a bit.

heh i'm using mircosoft intellmouse explorer optical and it works GREAT, fits my hand perfectly but then again my family all have LARGE hand, and i dislike small mouse, anyway it has nice large button on it, the two side button are different stories but i only use em for browsering so its no big deal, anyway my mouse is little over 2-3 years old and its still going strong
