    is this any good?

i came across this . i was wondering if any of you heard of this before. it sounds interesting not so much for the games but for the dvds. just want to read your input on this. also, shouldnt this thing be illegal or is it considered making a "backup" of your games/dvd?

Technically it isn't illegal. And there are many programs you can get to trick a computer into thinking the CD for the game is in the drive. Doesn't state that it will work with movie DVDs just games on DVDs.

I don't think it's BS. There are a lot of programs that can do that. What it does is it creates a virtual CD-ROM drive in your computer where you can put a whole CD's worth of data.

Not sure if any of you have tried this program, but it's called Alcohol 120%. It's a burning program that can allow you do make virtual drives.

Unless you have lots of hard disk space with nothing to do, why buy it? Just burn it onto a CD.
