    Missing something?

Hey guys, i was wondering if you could help me out.
In most games, such as morrowind, and a few others, my fps slow down in outside environments, and i don't know why.
Current game this is happening in, is Gothic 2.
I was wondering if im doing something wrong, or missing something.
I just formatted my computer, put on win2kpro, installed the 4in1's, updated windows fully, and installed graphics/audio drivers, as well as the amd/win2k patch. I set my swap file size to 1500mb (2.5x the ram of my system). If theres something, or some kind of graphic setting i should do, please tell me.
i currently have fog table emulation on, mipmap detail at best performance, and only use 63mb of memory for textures in pci mode. Everything else is set at default. And Digital Vibrance set to medium. And my card is oced.
    Thanks,
    Peter

For games like morrowind, I'd set everything to the lowest settings...though Gothic 2 I've never played it. You could mess around with the game settings and lower the detail levels and see what works for you.
