I have a PNY GeForce4 MX 420 PCI videocard. I want to know what the best drivers are for them. Thanks for the answers!

as far as i can tell...it really just depends on what you want. quite a few people here at sharky's really like the 30.82's. i have yet to try the new 44.03's, but i use the 43.45's and i like those...

with some of the newer ones you might get a few more points in 3dmark, but other than that...they are pretty much all stable. some of the older ones (like the 30.82's) are probably a bit more stable...but i've never done extensive testing so i really couldn't say for sure...

Yeah, with that video card, stick to the older WHQL drivers. You don't need the 44.03 drivers for that card. They are optimized for the FX brand of cards running in XP, I think.

Anyways, I have had very good performance from the 41.09 drivers. They were WHQL candidates the last time I checked. The 30.82 drivers are very stable as well.

I upgraded from the 43.51 drivers to the 44.03 on my Golden Sample GF4 Ti 4200 and my 3DMark01SE score went down.
