Is it worth the buck to get Audigy2....
Well, I have the Live! 5.1 right now, it is good for music and gaming. Well, I am planning to get an Audigy2, however, I don't have Digital Speakers (or Headphones). Is it still worth the buck to get it even I only use the anolog out?
Will the sound be better?
by the way, is Digital that much better than Anology?
Thanks.

Zoom-Zoom!
Definately. Most speakers nowadays aren't digital anyway.

As a general rule, analog is no better than digital. And if you've got a halfway decent set of speakers, then yes, the Augidy 2 is worth it.

I would say yes as long as you have nice speakers. Sometimes I think my computer sounds better than my Onkyo home stereo lol (see sig)
shitty 2 year old rig....soon to be upgraded

I went with the Audigy 2 from the SB Live! myself. I won't ever go back. For 78 bucks, you'll hear things you never knew were even there.
