    Need help really quick

How do i create a bootable system floppy disk from the DOS prompt without creating "AUTOEXEC.BAT" and "CONFIG.SYS" files. The place that said i could do this says that i have to type "format a:/s", but /s is an invalid parameter. I need to figure this out cuzz im going to flash my bios.

If you need a bootdisk, try www.bootdisk.com.

That format statement only works with Win9x/ME and older OS's.

Do as XP18004life suggested and go to BootDisk.com and grab DrDOS 7.x. It makes perfect boot disks to use for flashing your BIOS.

If you're using DOS or Windows 9x/Me, you can use the FORMAT A: /S command or SYS A: . If you're using Windows NT, 2000, or XP, I'd suggest you go to www.bootdisk.com .
