Sorry, JKILLA, but buyer beware. You should really read the box before buying anything.

I never want to pay a monthly fee for a game. I really don't like that particular business model. My roommate has 3 everquest accounts, and as if last month didn't realise that he was also paying for a friend of his... for two years.

Sadly most online games (of massive scope) now require monthy fees that are steadily increasing. You should've recieved a free month with your SWG box though.

It's probably set-up the same way as EQ, where you get your free month AFTER paying for your first one.

JKILLA74, If you haven't gotten through to the server yet to activate your account, keep trying. I read that due to the high volume of subscribers, many people are having problems creating accounts. Keep trying and eventually you will get through.

yes Im very upset, paid 50 for the fame, 20 for the stradegy guide, going to pay 15 for the 1st month and I havent even played a single game yet.... Also I looked though the whole guide, and I dont see anything about becoming a jedi, or lightsabers...... Im gonna bring it ack i think.....

It took 2 hours to register. Now when I make my character and click next it just tries to connect but never does. i looked at the web site and the servers our constantly going offline and on. These F&*k heads have everything screwed up. Im pissed! Has anyone played this game yet?

I was lucky and got to play for about 4 hours today. Even if the game is unfinished it is lots of fun. Crafting is awesome and combat is great. Its worth the $15 in my opinion.

People it's the 1st day the game is out. Expect big problems for awhile just like any other mmpog. After the first few weeks it should be better. They do give the 1st month free so you can at least try it out.

anyone who expected this game to run good wasnt too bright, its been said there are bugs, things unfinished, and probablly will be like this for several months. Part of the price of having to be first to play a MMORPG

Sorry you didnt know that, all MMORPGs are pay-to-play.
