Third Prometeia update and a new 3dmark score!
Hello,
So... It turns out the Prometeia has a leak in the hose, so all the cold air is escaping through there, not to mention the Freon gas or whatever they use. This has pretty much rendered the Prometeia useless. I have contacted Chip-Con about it, but it's the weekend, so I won't hear from them until monday. In the meantime, it looks like my 2 weeks (colossus and vertices know what I'm talking about ) is slowly but surely slipping away. It seems like everything is against me, one problem after another.
Anyway - I did some benching on air cooling, and got:
[email protected] (2275mhz)
Radeon 9800 Pro (stock)
17201, which is almost 300 points more than my old record, which was set on 195x12. Looks promising.
Here is the screenshot (result browser kept timing out, couldn't publish):

I'm going to see if I can crank it up to 195x12 again, and maybe OC this 9800 Pro.

Hey XDuck, not that I'm doubting you and I'm certainly pretty new to all this but, your thread that shows your most recent scores only shows 7 of 7 game tests for your highest score. 3DMark01 runs 17 tests (atleast for me) the "Theoretical" and "DX 8 Feature" haven't run on your screen shots. Any reason why?

Pretty much every one of the high 3dmark scorers does this. It is done to reduce the amount of tests your hardware has to do, therefore increasing the likeliness that it will finish benchmarking successfully. Since every test puts stress on the hardware, it will increase the temperature and increase the likeliness of a crash.
Since I've been pushing my hardware (especially my poor CPU and motherboard), it was already fairly unstable.
