    Already opened it up to adjust the pots to get a higher 5V and 12V rail. Hmm. I guess I could give it a quick check up.

    I usually don't curse, but damnit . The capacitors blew on the power supply.

    I'll upload some pictures shortly (no pun intended). Stupid house. Recently my house's powering has been really bad. Last week we must have lost power like at least 20 times (no exaggeration).

    Sorry to hear it. It's always good to get to the bottom of a problem, though - at least you know what's wrong.

    At least my diagnosis was correct (or at least, I led you to the solution).

    Anything's Hot Swappable if you're fast enough.

    You can't see this one too well, but oh well:



    This sucks. I may see if a friend will help me repair this battered power supply.

    Anyone think any other components in my computer died from this?

    Heh heh, don't really feel like doing any furthur troubleshooting So depressed that this happened . Stupid brownouts.
