CAS 2 RAM vs CAS 3 RAM

    I saw the price for

    Crucial 512MB CAS3 PC3200 RAM (no heatsink)
    &
    OCZ 512MB CAS2 PC3200 RAM (/w copper heatsink)

OCZ was on sale, so the price was only $10 difference.

I heard that Crucial CAS3 was able to overclock 470mhz
while OCZ CAS2 was only able to hit 424~430mhz with.

Now, I know that CAS2 are faster than CAS3...
However, Crucial seems to overclock at higher MHZ than OCZ...

Which would be the best choice?
would CAS2 be faster than CAS3, even though CAS3 has extra 30~40mhz?
    Strengths
    stock fan
    2200mhz @ stock v-core (200 X 11)
    2300mhz @ 1.75v (200 X 11.5)
    2400mhz @ 1.95v (200 X 12.0)

Going higher than 2400mhz is near impossible with air cooling.

I've heard only bad things about OCZ memory. If you got an extra 20FSB out of the Crucial then I'd say, yes, that is better than a lower latency. Hope you can get that extra FSB.

The best solution would be to get some HyperX or XMS PC3200, but I don't know about availability in Canada...or prices for that matter.
