Anyone used a laptop screen for a mini-itx pc

    Lo all,

Has anyone ever built a custom mini-itx type PC using the screen/panel from an old laptop as a display? I have an old laptop (Dell P266 or something) that's not worth fixing and was wondering about how easy it would be to cannibalise it. CDROM is easy to pull-out of the bay mounting as is the FDD. But has anyone ever used the screen from one of these before? ...if so is it easy to remove?

Just thinkin, it might be worth a laugh, and cheaper than building a Prommie/Water-cooled combo monster! I need to build SOMETHING though, but am hardly the greatest modder LOL! ...Thx

Due to the difficulty of interfacing to a proprietary graphics interface it would be more time / trouble than it would be worth.
    ...WAIT FOR IT
