    bent gold pin on CDRwriter

i was fiddling with the insides of my pc cleaning out the dust and moving the cables around. the ribbonlike grey connector came off of my liteon burner and i tried to plug it back in the wrong way, bending one of the gold connectors.

it still works. did i break it??

It would probably snap off if it is bent that far and you try to bend it back...

Try bending it back very slowly. If it's back that far, it'll probably snap like Colossus mentioned, but you might be able to get it back if you're really careful.

You might not be having problems now, but I don't think a missing/broken pin is ever a good thing.
    Stuff and stuff
