Results of 120mm CPU fan (adapter)
Going from a 34db 80mm fan to the 120mm fan with adaptor my idle/load temperatures dropped about 3C. Temperatures really do not change all that much changing the speed of the fan so I'm running at the slowest setting. So I dropped 8db and 3C. I'm pulling the air off (what the heat sink is designed for). Now I need to shut this north bridge up.

Edit: Daytime stats at 32C case temperature (AC set to 80 during the day and 73 during the night). Load temperatures (folding, playing mp3s and surfing the internet at the same time) for 1 hour
80mm fan directly on heat sink 59C (+- .5C depending on direction of fan).
120mm fan on adapter 56.5C
