    What should I backup?

Alright, I'm gonna format soon and everytime I do this I seem to forget to back something up and I get really mad. Here's my list so far:

My documents, music, downloads, favorites. Anything that I'm overlooking? This might be a stupid question, but thanks anyway.

You might also want to do a quick look through your Program Files directory to see if there are any data or setting files that you want to save. For example, I usually copy the skins and plugins folders for Winamp. Or programs like ICQ or Kazaa that have folders under Program files where they save your downloaded files to.

Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

    porn?

I'm doing the exact same thing now. Just got my raid controllers in and I"m going to start mirroring my 120gb drive and 2 of my 40gb drives. Right now I'm only backing up the Windows box and since I'm not putting Windows back on it should be pretty easy, just back up the FTP site. All I can think of is documents and configs.

Save game files for all your games.

Pretty much anything that you find valuable or is irreproducable you should back up. Most everything else can be reinstalled and set up exactly the same way you had it before.

If you have any hard-to-find drivers, save those...

Save address books and email from all your accounts in all your programs (i have this problem since i use different programs, *and* have other people using them all for their own accounts).

Can't think of anything else that wasn't already mentioned...good luck.
