Any more and you'll need a PCI IDE controller card.
Unless his mobo supports more. Thats why I love my EPoX 8K5A3+.

Currectly 6 IDE HDDs, 880GB. But when I was transfering files the other night, my system was getting glitchy and finally rebooted. I worry the 400w Antec isn't enough. Which really is the only thing that bugs me, cause their spendy!

    my 2 cents

    That's a good price with the Mail-In-Rippoff.
Unfortunately I don't support MIR pricing, it for suckers.
I'll wait and buy it online for the true price.

personally, i wont use it b/c

    1. I don't need a new HD
    2. i hate mir's they suck. *** don't they just give you the discount then? b/c they know that only 1/4 of the people bother.

Considering the HDD is only $99 at the site now w/ the MIR's I'd rather get this for the same $99.
