    Burner Problems

I have a LiteOn 48x24x48 CD-RW Drive. Now in Nero it shows max record speed of 32x instead of 48x. Why is that and what can i do to fix it? Thanks.

The problem could be the CD-R's that your using, if they're not rated up the 48x speed then nero will only let you go up to its top speed.
Now for some shameless self promotion:

I just recently found out that there is a higher probability of data corruption possible when burning at max. I lost alot of my digital images that I had burned onto cd's at max speed and never bothered to check them before reformatting. Also - the type of cd's can cause problems too. Am happily burning all my data back onto Fuji cds at the moment..
