    Whats the difference between these??

    ATI (Saphire) Radeon 9800 Pro vs ATI Radeon 9800 Pro??? I see these advertised on different sites but I cant tell if there is a difference.

    Sapphire has very close ties with ATi in distributing their graphics cards. The Sapphire and ATi 9800 Pro are both manufactured by ATi, so no physical quality differences. There might be a software bundle difference though.

    I belive that Sapphire makes ATIs cards now. ATI is soley a chip manufacturer these days.

    Saphire is the company that makes the "Made by ATi" for ATi. They do so under ATi qualifications for the board, and all components that go on the board, but they do build the cards sold under the made by ATi name.
