    Question New Video Card

I was thinking about getting a new video card. I don't care if it's Nvidia or ATI. I want to spend under $200. I was thinking about getting either a 9500 Pro or 9600 Pro. Also I was wondering if I have to have a pro AGP slot to have a pro video card? It probably doesn't matter but I thought I would ask. Also I was going to get a new PSU and I thought I would get either a Antec True480 or True430. Will those PSU's give enough juice? Please if you have any suggestions or comments on the video cards and/or PSU's. Thanks!

I would suggest a 9500pro and get one fast before they are gone, allstarshop.com has some in stock last time I looked, the retail for $199. plus free shipping and the OEM for $193. with free shipping also. I would go with the Antec 430w that should be able to handle everthing.

9500Pro is a great card and if you wait a little I think the 9700np will reach this price range,

    Mwave.com will have by 7/25

    ATI RADEON 9700 128MB 8XAGP DDR W/TV& DVI (OEM - POWERED BY ATI $209

    Hope it helps,

Thanks guys. I was going to ask if the 9700np goes under $200 if I should get it. Should I if it does?

IMHO, I don`t think you will find a new 9700np for less then $200. and there is no need to wait because like the 9500pro there will be no more of them. Like I say just my opinion

9700 np's were about $200's about two weeks ago! Then they jumped up again to $220's... Just wait a bit more... The power should be sufficient. No you don't need AGP Pro slot. I run my FIC 9700 np w/ my Antec True Power 330 W w/o any problems.
