Baffled in St. Louis, in tears too!

P4C800 Deluxe, Mitsumi Floppy. I can copy from my floppy to anything. I can copy from anything to my floppy. I can select the floppy in Explorer and see all the files on a disk! I CAN'T BOOT FROM MY FLOPPY! Its the first device in BIOS too. I've tried two floppy drives and two cables too. Now, I was a blond when I was younger What am I doing wrong?

BIOS update? It worked for me, but my problem was a little different. You seem to have a one in a kind problem there

Haha, I'm blonde now. BIOS flash and some prayers maybe. Are these disks made by yourself? Maybe you are doing something wrong...we all make mistakes!

there should be a line that will basically say "boot from alternate devices"..
    make sure thats enabled..

also, the disk must be bootable..(i said that in case the blonde is still lingering)

btw.. the blonde thing only applies to the female species..
i know this from 36yrs of "blondehood"..

HAHA... funny thing is that usually you need to boot from a floppy to update your bios. YOSSARIAN LIVES
