I haven't used a floppy drive for three years now. Everything goes on CD, DVD, or USB disk.

True, but can the R9500 Pro not o/c?

Uhhhh....I think the 'watt' was a bit of a joke.

Also, o/c'ing should be spread across the board. If u can o/c a 9600
Pro then it should be compared to what a 9500Pro can do o/c'd. PLUS,
    I don't really know how much faster a o/c'd 9600Pro is than a stock
9500Pro....I don't have #'s to back me up, though.....

A R9600 Pro o/ced to the max will be slightly faster than a R9500 Pro at stock...

Just go ahead and try to install the drivers for your SCSI card or RAID during the installation of an NT OS without it.

    okay now in all honesty...

tbird you have to think about this just a smidge, if a company is going to make you shell out 200 for a card, im pretty sure they are going to front you a $.20 adapter just so that you can USE IT WHEN YOU GET HOME.

Shist, when I bought my APC UPS they provided a crapy little philips head screwdriver, so you could undo the housing and connect the battery.

Yes, but the 9600P is lower cost.

BTW - "We don't NEED no steenk-ing RAID, scuzzy, or NT!!"

It IS a bit of a choice, now that I look at the $$$ involved...$150 for the 9600Pro compared to AROUND $190 for the 9500Pro.

    I'm just glad I'd gotten my 9700np for $198 w/shipping.....

    Question

The cheapest I've seen the 9500P lately is $199. - and that's actually in stock. Where'd you price it for $190.?
