I just took those screens from a single player game with no bots, just to look around. Also keep in mind, my computer sucks, so I run on all the lowest graphics settings. I'm sure it would look better on other machines.
Here's my initial impressions:
1) This is a very prelimary release. Overall it has a rough, unfinished feel to it, which is absolutely to be expected considering this is a first release.
2) I am impressed with the amount of detail that has gone into it. All the radio commands are updated, flag graphics, intro video, sounds, vehicles, weapons, buildings, skins - it's all new. This is very much a huge makeover from the original bf1942.
3) The intro music at first seems kinda hokey but now it's really grown on me and now I find it quite enjoyable (it's not Star Wars music).
4) I only flew the tie fighter so far which was easy to pick up. Flies somewhat like F16 or mig from DC but a lot slower.
5) The AT-AT or whatever it's called has pretty good physics. It really feels like you're walking.
Now time for some multiplayer

Tried multiplayer - runs like crap on my computer. Anybody else having performance problems? Well, time for sleep...
