im building a new system using an nforce2 IGP board and im planning to use the onboard video. to get the most out of the on-board video, it REQUIRES that i use dual-channel DDR.. i only have one stick of pc3500 and it is completely worthless for my IGP board.. also on the IGP board, it uses a unified ram architecture, so i need to subtract 64-128 ram from the system ram for video ram usage, which is why i need more than 256mb ram. also, the IGP board only overclocks to 180mhz fsb max (thus again, making my pc3500 worthless)... im not gonna be using my gaming rig for awhile since i have no desire to play games at this moment (too busy with other stuff), so another reason i dont need pc3500. hyperx pc3500 goes for about $70 at newegg for 256mb... a stick of pc2700 256mb generic goes for $40-45... so it would cost me alot to sell my 3500 (get about 60 at most) and then spend another 20-30 to get a second stick of pc2700.

My vision is improving!
ill trade!!!!!!!! I have a 256mb and a 128mb of pc2100 thatll do 166fsb though. 2.5-3-3-7-t2 I think though. are good timings important? If you are interested I can test those two sticks at 166fsb with prime95 or 3dmark for several hours to ensure stability. If 166fsb is all you need, I think those two sticks can do it. Will dual channel work if the sticks arent the same size?
edit: what is the highest fsb that thing will do at 2-2-2-6-t1? I need at least 210fsb at those timings, can pc3500 ram run 210fsb at those timings, specificially yours?
