need GOOD dsl internet that you can get good pings with.
Im looking for a good dsl service that doesnt cost an arm and a leg.Is sbc yahoo any good?

I had it before it merged with yahoo. Was pretty fast, decent price, top notch service. I would recommend them.

Regardless of who you buy it from, all dsl is the same: it comes from your local phone company.

I would check how far you are from the central office. The way to do this is call the company of choice and ask for a loop test etc... If you are say not within 15,000 ft give or take I would check into cable which is normally a bit faster anyhow

i heard cable is generally faster at pings
but all broadband depends on your own personal situation of where you are at and what is available
