    Promedia 4.1 Warranty

Hey guys, how long is the warranty for these? I know they're being discontinued, but they're on clearance for a great price at Circuit City, and I was considering using them for my laptop.

Kinda a shameless bump, but I've got another question bout these. I was thinking about using these speakers (the Promedia 4.1s, with my laptop), being that I already have the z680s for my main rig. Will the sound bad?

1 year, they will sound good, but your soundsystem in the laptop will be the defining factor. personally i would use the 4.1s on your main rig, nothing compares to the promedia sound quality, my v.2-400(the version before the 4.1) still surprise me how good they sound every day.

Heh, I couldn't get a hold of a set, I was hoping to get a set from Circuit City (they're on clearance), and there's none anywhere my hometown, or where I go to school. I called about 5 stores, and all the Best Buys around them, to see if I could get a price match, but to no avail. Dang it. Maybe I'll hold off and get a set of the Klipsch Promedia 5.1 Ultras when they come out to replace my z680s.

I am thinking of upgrading to 5.1 as well but dont know that I will see that much of a sound improvement from 4.1.

Anybody know about this sorta thing?
