    OGL error in CounterStrike?

    Every once in awhile the game will freeze up, and ask me if I wish to send the details of the error to M$. I usually don't allow that, and I am starting to get pissed off that it happens. When I opened up event viewer to see what application was faulty, it said this:

    Faulting application hl.exe, version 1.1.1.0, faulting module nvoglnt.dll, version 6.14.10.4465, fault address 0x000154c4.

    Faulting module nvoglnt?

    NV = Nvidia?
    OGL= OpenGL
    NT = NT 4.0 (Windows XP Pro)

    Should I stop using OpenGL and use Direct3D and see if this stops happening? Has this happened to anyone else, and if so what did you do to fix it???

    THanks, Dave

    If this is in the wrong forums then "oops!" Mod please move it to where it needs to go - my drivers are currently at 44.65 which are pretty new. I believe something newer is out but I have continually updated my drivers in accordance to their releases (and test them all since they have come out). I will update to the newest one and see what happens, until then I'm running CS in D3D which seems to slow the game down some. Dammit all
