    what is the best cooling solution for an AMD T-bird WITH the 3 pin connector (for all of you who have a Abit KT7A wich requires it)

    Stay away from CoolerMaster. The best cooling solution for the Tbird is the Global Win WBK38. You can pick one up at:

    is that fan compatable with the KT7A mobo, I understand the BIOS wont let you boot unless the fan is a 3pin and spins between 2K and 5K RPM

    on that page they list a fan made for the KT7 mobo (Alpha PEP66T), any comments about that fan and heatsink combo?

    The clips that mount the orbs are notorious for breaking and just being a pain to install/uninstall.
    Plus they don't cool as well as the Globalwin ones do...
