TweakUI - Focus issues

There is an option on the TweakUI for PowerToys to not allow new windows or things to take away focus from what you are on already. So say I'm playing counterstrike and someone instant messages me, I should still be in the game and not alt-tabbed to view the message. Well I have this options enabled, yet when I play games I still get sent back into the desktop when I get IM'd. It's very annoying, especially in Counterstrike because once I alt-tab back into the game I have no sound and must restart

I also use Trillian - so if anyone knows if there is an options on Trillian to stop this from happening, such as supressing messages from popping up while I'm away, then please tell me! Or is TweakUI messing up? Thanks!

After fooling around with some options in Trillian nothing seems to work The only other way is to just log out of AIM and MSN (or trillian altogether). TweakUI made this Focus thing so it wouldn't do that, but since M$ is ***, they can't get their **** straight and it doesn't work.
