    Does SquareSoft/Enix have any MMORPG experience?

    I keep hearing fans on the Final Fantasy series berate blizzard about the upcoming World of Warcraft because of its lack of experience in the area of MMORPGs.
    Yet, to my knowledge, Square/Enix have no experience in this area either. Is this true?

    Well Square/Enix did recently release FF XI, which is a MMORPG, in Japan and will be releasing it in the US shortly. Don't know much about it though so you'd have to do some digging to see if it's good/bad.
    The Sweetness:
    * Intel Pentium 4 2.4C @ 2.88 (12x240)
    * ABIT IC7 w/1GB PC3500 DDR
    * SLK 900-U w/Vantec Thermoflow 92x25mm Fan
    * Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro (440/370)
    * Raidmax Black Mid P4 350W ATX Case

    Didn't they make Planescape: Torment? Or did that come out after BG 1?

    Yes, they made it to. Some say it even better the BG series.

    I think FF XI will be cool, Square has a way with RPGs, now if people are willing to pay for it (mountly fee)is a different story, esp. on the PS2. Buy the HDD and keyboard and the monthly fee? Hard sell. They might can if you get the first year free on the PS2, IMHO.

    FFXI has been in Japan for just under a year, so i take it most bugs are worked out and there is nothing to worry about.
    High End Lian Li Case = $180 on Mastercard
    High End Coolermaster Case = $180 on mastercard
    Debating which computer case is better = Priceless

    I'm a Coolermaster Fanboy, are you?

    Actually, Sony bought Varant after the game was released.
