Front USB 2.0 panel on a USB 1.1 header?

    Hey guys,

My Lian Li case came with a USB 2.0 front panel w/plugs. My motherboard however, only has USB 1.1 headers. Can I connect the USB 2.0 plugs to the 1.1 headers on the motherboard and have them work as USB 1.1 ports?

The reason why I don't just "try this" is because the plugs are all separated for each port (a total of 10 separate plugs if I remember correctly). It's very tough to get them all plugged into the pins on the board. On top of that, the USB 2.0 plugs have different lables on some of the plugs - so Im not really sure if (and which one) they would correspond to on the mainboard...

I guess I'd just like to know if this is feasible before I try going through this

    Thanks for any info!

    -Ryan

Cool - I just found a wiring guid as well - there's like 4 differnt ways the pins are arranged on various motherboards..

    BTW...Is that a bunny rabbit?
