Best pc3200 ram?
I'm looking at getting 2 sticks of 256mb pc3200 ram to take advantage of the dual channel slots in my a7n8x and wondering what brand, if any, would be best... basically I see these:
Corsair CMX256A-3200C2 256MB DDR400 PC3200 XMS Memory w/Heat Spreader Retail
Corsair CMX256A-3200C2PT 256MB DDR400 PC3200 XMS Memory w/Silver Heat Spreader Retail
Corsair CMX256A-3200LL 256MB DDR400 XMS3200 Low Latency SPD Memory w/Heat Spreader Retail
Corsair CMX256A-3200LLPT 256MB DDR400 XMS3200 Low Latency SPD Memory w/Platinum Heat Spreader Retail
Kingston HyperX KHX3200A/256 256MB DDR400 PC3200 Memory w/Heat Spreader Retail
These were the ones with heat spreaders attatched to them, which I'm assuming will be the best bet. Ranges from $65-80 per stick. They HyperX sounded like not every system supported it.. how can you tell?

Looked at geil, read the reviews on the 2x256mb dual channel golden dragon package at newegg. Quite a bit of problems it sounded like, even in the A7N8X. $104 for 2x256 though not bad. Although if they're going to perform like crap and have the problems listed above I'd rather go with 2x256 corsair xms plat low latency mem for like $140/pair.
Packaging is uber on the geil btw

Btw I won't be overclocking the memory, or my processor, or my vid card. Dunno if that would effect the kind of memory that would be needed for just fast stock, not necessarly the best ram for overclocking.
